Water management

Drainage, vapor barriers, and dehumidification

Groundwater and humid air move into crawlspaces through soil and open vents. Drain systems redirect water away from the footings, and heavy-mil vapor barriers block moisture rising from the ground.

Commercial dehumidifiers are sized to the square footage and sealed volume so the space holds a target relative humidity rather than cycling through short, ineffective runs.

Restoration and structure

Insulation, mold remediation, and framing repair

Insulation is installed to match the encapsulated space, reducing heat loss through the floor and supporting the humidity control already in place.

Mold remediation is targeted to the areas a mold assessment identifies. Framing repairs, including sistered joists and replaced members, restore load-bearing capacity where moisture has weakened wood.
